Jennifer Loeber was born and raised in New York City and received her BFA in photography from Massachusetts College of Art. She first fell in love with photography while being forced to wear pink sequined gypsy pants as a stand-in model for a high school photography class. The other side of the lens looked infinitely more appealing.
Her work has been widely exhibited and was recently written up in Gothamist, Conscientious and Exposure Compensation. She received Honorable Mention at the prestigious Prix De La Photographie in 2007 and the Humble Arts Foundation is currently offering a limited edition set from her 'Zeig Mal' series. Her work has also explored film and her 2007 documentary, 'Fish Kill Flea' is now exhibiting on the international festival circuit.
